At first he gave me this long speech and $500 price tag. I was expecting about $150. He finally came down to $275. He did not even wash the outside of the car. The carpet was supposed to be cleaned. I could tell they had used a shampooer but did nothing to try to get rid of stains. There was no nice smell when I got in the car so they didn't even spray anything. Some of the carpet still had packed in dirt. They did not remove the stickers on the dashboard. The ashtray was not completely clean. There were marks in the car that were not removed. It was as if they took a dishrag and casually cleaned the area. I wrote to them and included pictures as I had to leave the minute I got the car and they didn't even answer. I asked for a partial refund. I definitely would not recommend this place

I had a funny feeling about making an appointment with this place because they would hardly answer there phone during regular business hours but I went ahead and made an appointment for Saturday, October the 12th. I keep my boat on a slip at Lake Patoka which is about 100 miles from their detail shop. Of course when I arrived nobody was at the shop. I couldn't even leave my boat there. This is very unprofessional and shows what type of moral character this business has. They could have called me and canceled. I believe a business that can't keep a appointment would also charge you for services that you don't need or even lye to your face.

I didn't know what to expect, as I had never had my car detailed before, though I had been curious about it for years. The woman who checked me in was super friendly. She looked our six-year old car over and said that because it was pretty dirty (she was being polite, it was in desperate need of a cleaning) to get it done right they'd need to charge an additional $35 and work on it for a half hour longer than the one hour my email voucher-thingy was for. I said that was fine, and I went off to have lunch. When I cam back they were still working on it - there's a big window and you can see everything from the waiting room. So I watched Food Network on their t.v. and chilled. I couldn't believe it. They worked on my car for another two and a half hours. FOUR hours total. And oh my gosh - when they were done it looked like a new car. I thought they were going to say "Oh, well, we couldn't do anything about blah blah blah," but no. Every nook and cranny was clean, every surface spotless. The chrome bits gleamed. It smelled new. I've told everyone I can get to listen how great this place is. I've even dragged them to my car to show them. I also left the Louisville Detailing floor protector on the passenger's side wheelwell so when I have work done on the car (like right now, actually) those mechanics will see it. I want tons of people to go give these folks their business, and I will totally be back. Thank you Louisivlle Detailing. You rock!
