She decided to take it to this place which was close to where she lived. They said it would be 250.00. She got it back later that day. It ran better but went about 2 miles and the engine light came back on. She called them and took it back to them and they said it would need a new valve, whatever that meant, and it would be another 350.00. It took a couple of more days and they said it wasnt what they thought and it was only 120.00. Again she drove a couple of miles and the engine light came back on. I dont think this place what the fuck they are doing. Gonna report them to the BBB. I think they were taking advantage of my daughter. I will see if they respond. I know one thing if we take it back to them. they will fix it right at no cost. I wouldnt trust them at all.
called for quote on replacing 02 oxygen sensors on my 1997 bmw 740il.... read more called for quote on replacing 02 oxygen sensors on my 1997 bmw 740il. was quoted as a hourly rate of $69.50. as shown on the wall in there office. so they replaced my oxygen sensors which took about 1 hour. I was charged a total of $157.00 shows on my copy of bill of $75.00 an hour what happened to the $69.50 an hour. I timed the mechanic and it only took 1 hour but the bill would reflect 2 hours. this is not right and would suggest you get an estimate in writing before you have them work on you vehicle. this shop is affiliated with a church.
