They charged me $70 for a Diagnostic test that had the same information on it as the emissions test that they had just run on my car. They did add an additional part as a necessary replacement although the part wasn't bad. After a friend pointed out that this part wasn't bad, they stated that it was simply a 'suggestion'. I think they should have been more specific although there was no paperwork to be specific on. I got a receipt for my $70. Autozone's free diagnostic tests at least give you some paperwork. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told that I knew nothing about car repair and I was probably lying about how useful the test was. Riiiiiight. The owner really argued vehemently with me about returning my money so I guess he needs it more than I do. By the fact that he works another job and the run-down appearance of this location, I finally stopped trying to get a refund on the most useless and outrageously stupid diagnostic test I've ever had. If you want to be treated with respect and common courtesy, go somewhere else. If you want a company that believes that the customer is always right, don't go here.

I noticed that they did not bother removeing the old trasformer and just set this one on top of it, which i thought was a little sloppy, but the A/C worked then so i didn't think to much about it. When it was time to turn on the furnace 2 months later, it did not come on. I was ready to call them back because it is an older furnace and just thought something else needed fixing on it. I made sure the A/C was still working and i thought it a little odd that the furnace would not do anything, so before i called i decided to look at the wiring schematic in the furnace and make sure that their technician had wired it up correctly. I had worked for seven years drawing wiring scematics for huge furnaces in inductrial plants used for melting aluminum, so i knew what i was looking at. Sure enough the technician had put the thermostat wire controling the furnace on the wrong terminal. After i put it on the wright one the furnace worked perfectly. I wasn't sure if it was just a mistake or if it was done on purpose so that i would have to make a new service call in a couple months. Either way i thought they should be made aware of the mistake. This is where my problem with the company lies. Where i work the customer is always right, even if they are wrong, they are right. I emailed them and told them what had happened and how at the very least they should see how their technician could have made such a simple mistake, if that is what it was. They responded by saying that they were sure it was a mistake and told me to take my business elswere next time and spend twice as much money. That was it, no opology for doing bad work, just go somewhere else. Companies that are ran by people like this are what is wrong with this country today, it's sad.
