I had scratches to the left side of my car incurred in backing out o... read more I had scratches to the left side of my car incurred in backing out of an apartment complex parking lot, scraping a railing on a stoop. The original estimate from JDM and my insurance adjuster were only a few dollars apart. I brought my car in for repair at 8 AM on Monday, July 22nd and was told the repair would be 4 days. On Thursday I called and Paul Chilcott told me he forgot to call me about additional repairs needed, including a wheel that I specifically told him and the insurance adjuster was not to be part of the repair as it was not part of the accident. My insurance adjuster had to call the owner to straighten out the wheel issue. I was told my car would be ready the following Tuesday and that I would be called on Monday. On Wednesday I called and asked for a time when I could pick up my vehicle. I never received a call back. On Thursday my insurance company called, not JDM, and told me JDM would have my car ready on Friday. They would call. At 4:30 PM on Friday I decided to return my rental car and retrieve my car. I was further insulted with the lie that they had called and told me the car would be ready at 5:00. I never received such a call. I drove my car home without any final detail work - simply glad to have it back before the weekend (Friday, August 2nd). The repairs were minor, $2,100 originally, and should not have taken that long. Even so, honesty would have been appreciated. Do not do business with Paul Chilcott and JDM. You will regret it
I noticed this Tarmica lady is on every link to this business, however... read more I noticed this Tarmica lady is on every link to this business, however her/his name is spelled differently every time. Sometimes its Tarmika. Sometimes its Tarmika Howard, sometimes Tarmica Larson. Seems like maybe a discruntled employee or a vengeful girlfriend. I ON A PERSONAL BASIS, have had a wonderful experience with this company. My first time there was with my husband who was rear ended by a drunk driver. JDM was suggested by State Farm, and when we called JDM they jumped into action. A rental car was arranged and waiting at their facility, our car was picked up by JDM's tow driver (Rob who was delightful) and we were updated and at our request sent photo's of the process. The car was done a day early and was beautiful!!! SECOND EXPERIENCE: My daughters car was taken there, for minor scratches (she dropped her bicycle on the side). We were worried about putting a claim in, but again JDM was honest and helpful. They were able to buff the scratches and do some touch up. It cost us nothing!!!!! Come ON! This so called "body shop" is nothing short of a CHOP shop! They ruine... read more This so called "body shop" is nothing short of a CHOP shop! They ruined my car and did not offer to repair or compensate.Dont waste your money or time with this so called. "business"!!!!!
