Same experience with Frank as a few of the other people who have left reviews. I paid $80 for a passenger car detail (interior only). I inspected my car after getting home instead of at his shop. As another commenter noted, it wouldn't have done any good to question his work -- he doesn't appear to be interested in listening to anyone except himself. It appears that he attempted to shampoo the carpets; cleaned some of the grime off the steering wheel (I had specifically pointed that out to him prior to the work); and wiped some shiny conditioner on the dash. In fairness, he did voluntarily buff the cruddy build-up off the headlight covers w/o being asked. However, I took my car in for a detail because I was seeking to have all the vinyl inside cleaned -- that did not occur in a meaningful way. Other than some of the dash immediately in front of the driver, and possibly a quick swipe on the door handles, the rest of the vinyl was not touched at all. I was seeking to have the windows cleaned inside -- that did not occur at all. I was seeking to have the upholstery shampooed -- that did not occur at all. I was seeking to have the carpet shampooed -- it appears that he attempted to shampoo the carpets, but nearly all the existing grime was still there, just swished around. He did clean the two floor mats pretty good. Very, very disappointed with the product of his work. I don't know if he deliberately performs poorly, or if he just doesn't give a damn anymore and doesn't care if anyone returns or gives bad word-of-mouth about the work. I tend to think he just doesn't give a damn, but I also have the sense that I was duped, with all the talk beforehand about how knowledgeable he is and all the chemicals he has, etc. etc. etc. Then, the result of the job looks as though he spent a total of about 30 minutes working on the car. Bottom line: Very sloppy. Very incomplete. Very dissatisfied. Very ripped off (it's $80, after all). And, most importantly, very mislead. It seems, effectively, that he is contemptuous towards the notion of meeting a customer's expectations. There also seems to be a component of 'skinning' the customer for the money, by talking everything up beforehand and then handing such shoddy work back to the customer. It reminds me of a carnival worker at those games where you only lose your money, and that's it. Bye, bye, thanks for the cash, sucker.Same experience with Frank as a few of the other people who have left reviews. I paid $80 for a passenger car detail (interior only).
