I took my car in for an oil change, brake pads & rotors & a general check, as I purchased it less than 3 mo. ago but seems to be great. I spoke with Tanner, who was very friendly & thorough. Tanner called & MY understanding was: I was looking at $175 for brakes & checking out the car, he also informed me at this time, the car needed $8500- $9000 work to be "safe" and ok to which I declined, as the car is a 2004 Camry with 200,000+ miles. I picked the car up paying $275 00 and to my dismay; I paid $75.00 for an oil change alone - ridiculous! And the $275.00 DIDN'T get any brake work done at all!!! $200 to look over the car? ABSURD! So, I basically paid $275.00 for a freakin oil change! He said they couldn't do the brakes for under $1,400.00!!! BS!! I worked in 2 dealerships for 10+ years and have NEVER heard of such a thing. More than a $1000.00 for brakes on a $2,200.00 car??? INSANE & INSULTING! I won't be recommending you to anyone and hope I can save 1 victim from being taken advantage of, and of paying $275.00 for an oil change!
