Then get a call saying it's gonna be another 150 for a bolt they broke from the frame. And then didn't get it back til the next week. Was not happy with the service or the communication. Luckily we were able to get financing but they could have been more careful on the bolt and not charge more for what they already quoted. Now I remember why I don't go to these guys

It is a rare occurrence to have a shop owner willingly acknowledge that an error occurred in their shop and then take responsibility for it. Bryan represents auto repair shops and Walcott, IA in an amazing way. Traveling in late June of 2017, we had to stop for a new alternator in Walcott, IA. After Newell's completed the repair in short order, due to a short time frame, we were on our way. Eight hours later, we had to pull over and get the car back in a shop. Bryan apologized and took responsibility for the situation and the shop fees to correct the situation. We were amazed by Bryan! I was told by others before we had our repair work done at Newells Automotive that Bryan was a "good guy." We agree. Walcott, you have a great small business owner in Bryan Newell! Thank you Bryan!
