I went inside, gave clerk 3 Five Dollar bills=$15.00, told her I need 15 on pump#3. Didn't ask for a receipt because I trust people to do the right thing. Went out to my car, pumped gas & it stopped at $10.00....so walked back into the store to confront clerk (Black woman approx. 45-50 years old, now the clerk had locked the door....I call the cops. Cops came, O but they cant do anything because it's now a civil matter. Then, clerk remarked I had never been inside the store. WHAT??? How did I pump $10 worth of gas????? Lee County cops: When did stealing not become illegal? I will never go back into that store & advise anyone else to do the same. If she's stealing from me, she's stealing from the store owners.
