I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side o... read more I was in a car accident (an individual slammed into the drivers side of my car) and so his insurance company (progressive) sent me to Impex. I should have know from my initial experience with this place that it was not going to be a good one but I went ahead anyway because of the reviews, I wanted my car fixed ASAP, and because my adjuster stated this is where he get his car fixed. When I went to pick up my car it looked externally fixed (ok ), however when I drove it just a few feet my tire pressure light went on. I immediately turned around and went back to Impex and they put air in my tires. I thought it was the end of it. For the past month I have had to go 2x per week to put air in my tires. The back rear tire on the drivers side where my car was hit. I called them several times and Julio keep making excesses and not wanting to fix what they did to my car. He keep saying that I must have done it when i drove it the few feet I did -- What?!! I did it really. Full of excuses and little to no solutions-not only that I am unable to make a U turns without my steering wheel locking and my car making this awful squeal. This is the most DISHONEST and UNDER HANDED place I've ever been to. I don't know if the other reviews are paid because my experience was not a 5 star experience, it wasn't even a half star. Their mechanic improperly installed a transmission and they charged to fix his errors. I recently brought in a friend's Nissan Altima to have the transmission replaced and had it charged to my AAMCO Credit Card account. After picking the picking up the auto, the starter made a grinding noise when attempting to start the vehicle. Believing this to be a separate problem I took it to my regular mechanic. He stated that the problem was the screw in the transmission mounting was improperly installed and was causing damage to the starter. We had the car towed to their shop. The manager "Charlie" informed us that since another mechanic looked at the vehicle they would not honor the warranty. This is unacceptable because without having a third party inspect the vehicle how would they be found at fault. It is all around bad business to allow your employees to perform substandard work, and even worse practice not to fix the problem when it does occur.I currently have an open complaint with the better business bureau about the matter.

The service is top notch and performed in a timely fashion; and above all, the customer is treated with respect! And that is hard to find these days.
