We just moved from the FL Keys to PSL and brought our Winnebago RV bui... read more We just moved from the FL Keys to PSL and brought our Winnebago RV built on a 2006 Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis. We are the original owners and we treat it with great pride and care. After doing a lot of research, and checking out lots of reviews online, we paid a visit to Duane and checked out SLAD. We were impressed and felt confident that SLAD was the place to service our beloved RV in the future, for many reasons, too long for this short review. We have since brought our RV in for evacuation and charge of its a/c. The service was performed professionally while I waited. The price was fair and the a/c now blows ice cold. I have been to many auto repair shops and met many auto mechanics, some good, some not so much. I had some discussions about the MB Sprinter chassis, and found that Wayne was up to speed on all the details on this vehicle. I have a lot of confidence with Wayne and SLAD being the auto shop I will be using for all my RV chassis future needs.

Went in to have transmission checked because fluid low check came on and trans pump was whining. Said he was dropping the pan to check filter but he decided rather to tell me I needed a whole new trans for about $4500. Said he dropped the pan and charged me $100 for “diagnostic” come to find pan was never dropped (I mark the bolts) confronted him on this and Figgured he was either inexperienced or just a crook so took it down the street and proved the latter as my new guy found a clog in the line, changed the filter and it works better than before. Typical dirty business practice!!!! Stay away!!!

Called a couple transmission repair shops and they wouldn't touch it. Mike at Transmaster said he was familiar with the transmission and to bring it in. He found the problem, fixed it, did a service on it…and it shifts like new
