We are the original owners and we treat it with great pride and care. After doing a lot of research, and checking out lots of reviews online, we paid a visit to Duane and checked out SLAD. We were impressed and felt confident that SLAD was the place to service our beloved RV in the future, for many reasons, too long for this short review. We have since brought our RV in for evacuation and charge of its a/c. The service was performed professionally while I waited. The price was fair and the a/c now blows ice cold. I have been to many auto repair shops and met many auto mechanics, some good, some not so much. I had some discussions about the MB Sprinter chassis, and found that Wayne was up to speed on all the details on this vehicle. I have a lot of confidence with Wayne and SLAD being the auto shop I will be using for all my RV chassis future needs.

    This is by far, the most PROFICIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE and HONEST automoti... read more This is by far, the most PROFICIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE and HONEST automotive service I have encountered since moving to Port St Lucie 2 years ago. I purchased a used vehicle that I needed to check out as it had very high mileage. I needed to have my fuses checked and my moonroof to operate- they informed me that I would be charged one hour of labor for a diagnostic and if it could be fixed the charge would be prorated to the actual time of repair. Fuses checked and the moonroof was opened (unfortunately the tracks and motor needed replacement and I elected to just leave it open due to the cost of replacements/installation). I was ONLY charged 30 minutes of labor and came away with LESS than half of one hours labor!!! All the techs (AND Service Manager) were cheerful and took the time to explain each step involved and to return if anything else came up. I have another issue which was resolved and dealt with their thorough knowledge and service--truly 5 STAR SERVICE!! I am a senior citizen and trust AMO Auto Service for competence and completeness---also very nice lobby!!!!!!!! Michael S.

    I dropped off my vehicle to get repaired they said they could not pro... read more I dropped off my vehicle to get repaired they said they could not provide an estimate until they took it apart. Once they took it apart they informed me that it would be 6900 for repair or 1750 for them to pit ot back together. After they over a week they informed me the vehicle was ready to be picked up. I said I would pick up by the end of that day . They called me back and asked how I was paying I informed them I was paying by check just like the last 5 times I used this company. They called me back and said that since the amount was so high that they would only take cash or credit card. I went in to pick up my vehicle with credit card and was told they do not take American Express. So I left and went back with my visa debit card they then refused to take my credit card and wanted me to run as debit not credit. A debit card can not be charged for that amount and would not go through. They informed me I would have to bring them in cash or I would not get my vehicle back After inspection of the vehicle they damaged the passengers side of vehicle and when confronted they said they would give me a 1000$ credit but I would have to pay cash and have no warranty on vehicle repair. Not sure if vehicle is actually repaired or not since they have it blocked in and will not let me start it. Not comfortable paying anyone cash with no form of proof of work done. Never had this issue with them considering they repaired that vehicle before along with many others and always paid by check. But to demand cash after the job is supposedly done is ridiculous. I was informed that I had until Monday morning to bring in cash or they will not give me 1000$ credit which is not going to pay for the damage that they did charged me the full price and also storage fees.
