Spring rate and crack pressure setting were the culprit. Went from a yellow spring to a purple in the forge actuator and turned down the crack pressure from 15 to 13. Whats upsetting though is that a bolt was missing from the actuator, so I had to spend ~300 for a new one as well as finding that you had ground down the actuator mount on the turbo when you said you had not. You also broke a mounting bolt used to hold down the turbo blanket. I would expect a much high level of service and competency from a shop charging the rate you do.

This is the worst, unresponsive, irresponsible and unprofessional mechanic I’ve ever met. I contacted him in February 2022 and requested to fix the engine (water in the oil). He came relatively fast, the next week and found the heads need to be replaced. He ordered new heads and other parts. It took 1 month to get them delivered and 2 more weeks to Brian showed up in my yard. He took the old gasket and found that the block had a crack and needed to be replaced. Why didn't he check this the first time? If he wan’s so negligent and blind and did his job better he could find this issue at the very beginning. It took 2 more weeks to find and order a new block and more than a month to get it delivered to me. I was hoping this “crooked hands master” will come ASAP and finish his work. But he didn’t come this week and next week. He was ignoring my phone calls and messages when I tried to arrange the appointment with him. He is OK to get a new job but is always so busy finishing it. I’ve been waiting for him for more than 2 month and then I said I don’t want to wait any more and I asked him to bring a block to me. He ignored me again for a week. The only one way it worked was to push him to bring me a $2K block to say that on Tuesday I will report to the Police. And he finally brought it to me at the end of July!!!!. I’ve been waiting for 6 month and at the end I got an unfixed boat and half a garage of parts. When I googled for reviews I found that this is his normal way of business. His rating is * 1 Star. I will be happy if you read this review and won’t call this deceiver - this will save you a few months of your time and a lot of your nerves. Please spend 1 more hour and google - there are many really talented professional mechanics with hundreds of reviews and 4.8-4.9 rating. Don’t give your job to losers and scammers!

I was referred by a friend who has been very pleased with their service. The experience felt very personal; I did not feel like a job ticket #. From the owner, to the owner's father, to the office gal Debbie, and to the mechanics (especially Dennis), the experience was everything one could ask for. I am a person who likes to know everything about my car so that I can anticipate or prevent future problems, and they took as long as necessary -- even going above and beyond -- to educate me on how things worked. I am not a person who writes many reviews but, in Carnovale’s case, I would feel remiss if I did not take the time to share my noteworthy experience.
