Ayers Auto Air Conditioning Here is the breakdown of this situation I took my Ford Connect there because the A/C was blowing but hot air I said let me see what they can do to fix it maybe I need Freon or something. When I check in he said it needs to add Freon and some type of A/C valve. If only Freon which may result to come back again but Freon and replace the valve will definitely fix it all. Well I said I don’t want any quick fix so I will go the valve route ok he said $185.00 ok bet let’s do it as I need it. Work done but only working for a few days less than week. Now no A/C I said I just fix this motherfucker what the fuck happened again... well I was busy working and can’t take it back instant now I check in today with them they said $1100 to fix that A/C ... lol I said you joking right? They said no it is going to cost that because they have to replace A/C evaporator and some othe craps. Why did you tell me that first time you checked it? When my local discount auto parts store was unable to install their re... read more When my local discount auto parts store was unable to install their replacement battery in my 2012 Focus, when I asked for a recommendation. Without hesitation they recommended Brothers, touting their honesty, fairness and comoetency. Such a reasonable charge and quick service, I honestly gave them a tip! Just week's later, faced with the 2009Ford Flex AC not working and bizarre behavior before a trip to see family. I was able to find a 3rd party part I suspected was the likely culprit. Ford would have marked it up and it likely would have cost me 2 to 3 times as much. I got the part overnight and to Brothers by noon. By closing time it was fixed and ready for pick up. Read the reviews on Google, I just did. And liked most of them. Any less than stellar review was rare and in my opinion unwarranted. Brothers is aptly named. Although they could easily be called Friends or Family, as it was a joy meeting 3 generations of family. Owner. Son and 6 year okd grandson., I found out just before leaving.
I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of question... read more I searched everywhere to find someone I could trust. Tons of questions and costs for things to be repaired or replaced. All this was because of a prior visits to another place who just looked at it and told me it needed a new transmission. When I finally contacted Engines and Transmission I felt by just talking to them I was at the place I needed to be. They took the time to answer questions, they picked up my vehicle, they called me at different steps to inform me of what they found. I went from thinking that I was going to have to replace/rebuild my transmission to items that were done in a much faster time and what was really needed. Living on a budget and worried about the cost...........I can not thank them enough for being so helpful, kind and considerate. I will return for checkups on a vehicle I had only had for 5 months and knew nothing about - but now I do. To everyone at Engines and Transmission but especially Ashley, Kate and Jason..
