When they were changing my oil I asked if I could try one of the magnetic gas tank bags to see how it would fit. While in the back I noticed my bike was pinned down using a flat nylon strap accross the tank. At that time I did not think much about it, thinking this is just how they do it. But after leaving I noticed glistening in the sunlight was major scratches right were the strap was and consistant with the size of the strap they used. I calmly called and tried just to talk to Steve about it. He got so mad and started cursing me. I contended I saw the strap and if he saw the scratches he surely would contend they did it. Furthermore I saw my bike in there security camera with the same blue strap holding my bike in place. He stills contends and curses at me saying they never scratched a bike tank ever. Guess what you scratched my tank and your going to pay to have it fixed weather you like it or not. No way to do customer service is to curse at your customers and call them crazy, I know whay I saw and I know it is on there security camera. But that ok I stopped payment on my credit card and until I am taken care of they will not get their money. All he had to do was say hey come down here let me look at it and we will take it from there. But now he had to be a dick about it. Now he will seriously loose major business. I will tell everyone how he is that I make contact with in the bike world. Ken
Avoid this service department at all costs. They took over a month to... read more Avoid this service department at all costs. They took over a month to complete a repair and I had to return bike the next day because of a coolant leak. Bike broke down 300 miles later and dealer is denying any responsibility. It is hard to get through by phone and they are slow to respond when you are present.
