Rosemary's daughter arrived at our shop with less than 5 minutes until we close. At this point, all of the bay doors are shut and the tools/equipment are locked away. If a customer does indeed show up with 15 minutes until we close, we would absolutely fix a flat tire and this has been a policy of Mid Coast Tire since 1977. It takes less than 10 minutes to fix a flat tire. The other tire store Rosemary mentions is open until 7PM on Saturday, but they are a national chain. This Saturday morning, She got a screw in her new tire, went over with the car to midcoast to have it repaired 15 minutes before closing, and was turned away. My husband called and spoke to the owner and he stated "My guys have a life to, they are cleaning up" and went on to tell my husband to never come back again. Very rude and very unbusinesslike. And THIS was the OWNER! There are plenty of other tire places in Vero! My daughter went over to GoodYear who also had early hours today, but nevertheless fixed my daughters tire immediately. Now that is what I call good business. GoodYear is located on Miracle Mile in Vero Beach.
