You can trust me on this one there's no better place in town to take your auto for transmission repairs than Bobby's Transmission they know how to treat people right you might even stop in when your auto's running fine just to shoot the breeze with em like I do. You can't go wrong with Bobby's Transmission you'll love the work and the people it's a good christian family run business you can trust. P.S I almost forgot Bobby even drove to May Port and picked me up from work so I could pick up my truck from his shop before they closed for the Christmas Holidays so I wouldn't be with out a truck over the holidays that shows ya what kind of man he is.
This family owed business that has serviced our vehicles over the last... read more This family owed business that has serviced our vehicles over the last 20 years has been wonderful and always beats everyone's price and has even helped us out financially reducing the prices according to our budget has been nothing but excellent. Bobby the owner works there with his three sons and you talk about the most southern hospitality and wonderful people you could ever meet not to mention top of the line work. I can't believe anyone could post such nonsense. Unlike any situation people only talk about the negative if any I just can't see it possible with these people but they never talk about the millions of highly satisfied customers that have come and gone over the years like my family. We would not go anywhere else if they offered to do it for free. Bobby the owner is a wonderful family and business man not to mention a Christian and has done our family vehicles and friends. I mean we have had friends bring there vehicles there from hours away. Thank you Bobby's Transmission for all work and help over the years and they deserve five stars all day everyday. The work is done immediately and top of the line work from their highly sophisticated and educated mechanics. Keep doing what your doing because with this day and age most family business can't make it due to the economy and yet they are still here after some 20 odd years. On January 31st, 2012 I brought my car in for an estimate. It was a Mo... read more On January 31st, 2012 I brought my car in for an estimate. It was a Monday. A guy named Mike who claimed to be the owners son gave me a price for my 2003 Honda Civic manual transmission. They told me that they would install one for a total of price if $925 parts & labor. (The total price would end up costing me $2,100). The part came in two days later (it was a thursday). I gave them $800 out of curtesy and a good hearted gesture to do the job. The job was only supposed to take one day. At the end of the day Mike told me that he couldn't finish the job because the transmission that he gotten was bad (later it would turn out that they never bought the transmission and instead took it around to another shop around the corner to get the car worked on). The next day he asked me for an additional $300 to buy some more parts because a seal or something was leaking. I gave them $300 (it was Friday). For the next couple of days Mike kept on asking for more money. I was giving him almost $300 a day. By the next Tuesday I just wanted to see my car. Mike did not want me to see my car and just kept asking for more cash. I finally left Bobby's Transmission alone and tracked my car down to a place around the corner called T&M Auto. It turned out that the car had been there since the first day that Mike picked it up from me. I immediately went back to Bobbys Transmission (which Bobby really was his dad) only to be informed that Mike had a really bad drug problem and had did this to several people before. Sometimes when dealing with auto mechanics you have to trust that they know what they are doing and your vehicle will be repaired. Not one thing was done to my car and I'm $2,100 poorer. CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!!! Go to this place at your own risk!!
