It took me over a year to find my Audi A6 4.2 quattro and I have up until this point done the work on my own car. I currently am working at a car dealership and have witnessed the absurd prices that “stealerships” charge for the most basic repairs and parts. The people at Davie Motors really are European Specialists. They let me store my car in the garage for almost 2 months! The fans for my car cost 1200 dollars I ordered salvaged fans and they turned out not to work. Davie Motors ended up being able to fix the brushes on my old fans so i wouldn't have to buy new ones thus saving me 1200 dollars. About a week later a hose blew on my power steering and Skip fixed it for free. I have taken used cars from the dealership here and referred multiple people. DAVIE MOTORS MAKES OWNING EUROPEAN CARS WORTH IT! This place is the best I wouldn't go anywhere else! REPAIRS COMPLETED: radiator, a/c condenser, a/c compressor, crankshaft seals, valve cover gaskets, radiator fan, auxiliary belt ECU update, transmission update, motor mount, not to mention radiator fluid, power steering fluid, oil change (Liqui Moly). Then they charged the whole system plus a vacuum test and dye-test.

The technician was able to identify the source of an engine stutter in my car that previous mechanics were not able to resolve. From my experience, if you own an European car, take it to a shop that knows those cars, and this shop knows them. They even take pictures of the parts they're replacing and keep you informed on the progress, you don't need to constantly call and request for an update. A+ Service. Will definitely use them again if my car needs service or repairs.

I have used this company in the past twice. However me nor my family and friends will be using this company again. The owner of the company and the employees he has answering the phones information do not match. The owner made the issue right but his employees that answer the phones where extremely unprofessional and lied to me to cover up what had transpired. I called on a Friday, on or about 5:30pm when my car battery originally died. No one answered and the answering machine said their hours are from 7:30am to 6:00pm.So I decided to call back at least to ask some questions. A woman answered and told me they were closed and the answering machine was incorrect. I asked if they still do deliveries, she said yes and that they open at 8:00am and it was $25 to come out and install. I asked if they take credit cards she said yes he would just call it in. I called 8:09am the next Saturday morning. No one answered so I called back. A woman answered and said that no one was there yet for me to call back a little later. I called back later and again got the run around. I called the person that referred me to them. She called and the owner called me from his cell phone. He took my make and model, the year and told me he would be there in a while and will call me with a price. He also mentioned that it would be cheaper if I came out because it was an extra $25 for him to come out. I told him I would pay because I had no other way to get a battery at this point. I asked again if they will take my card he said yes and he only had one other worker this day. No one called me back. So I called and called and called. I ended up getting a hold of another woman. By this time I was frustrated and I told the woman this was bad business. I told her I have been very patient and respectful (mainly because of the person that referred me to them) and I needed to go to the grocery store because I had a hungry child at home. I told her they close in an hour and a half and I was the first customer to call that morning. She said this is a business I apologize and I will call the supervisor again. I stood outside and as some time went by I saw a marked truck pull into my apartment complex and blow the horn. I later found out that he did not have his cell phone on him so in reality if I wasn't standing outside I may have missed him as in the owner. He got out of the truck and told me he was sorry that he just got out of the hospital. Because I was so frustrated at this point he could tell my sympathy was not where it should have been. He placed in the battery and wrote up the ticket. Up until this point I still was never told a price when I asked on one of the previous phone calls I was told the supervisor will give me a price. He wrote the ticket for $124 I paid it and went to the grocery store. Also too he didn't have his phone so he wrote my credit card number on the receipt which I felt extremely uneasy about. I asked if my credit card number would be scratched out back at his office he said yes ma'am we don't do those types of things. The next day I noticed the ticket was written for $94 for the battery and $30 to come out and install I assumed. This made me angry because after all the run around I was seemingly charged extra.I also assumed that when he took my old battery I was never compensated for it so I accused them of stealing from me in which I later found out I was wrong about just that. I called and left a message and I also emailed the company. I called twice the next day now Monday no answer. I was then called back by the owner on his cell phone again. I asked about my concerns. He explained that the extra fees were taxes and a $2 credit card charge which I was never told about the credit card charge when I asked twice if they take it. He said you know what I will give you the managers special and I will give you $10 out my own pocket if you feel like that. I said ok I will be there Saturday. Add't emails were exchanged. The woman responding to the emails was so unprofessional that I let my friend/there customer read them and she decided she will not use them any longer.
