I knew it needed alternator so I had in my trunk for my husband to fix. I waited 5 hours before he even told me he could not get to it today because he was closing. It was 3:00. He had a footling sandwich on his desk which he demolished and then FELL ASLEEP AT HIS DESK!! I woke him to get my keys and he yelled take your fu#%&ing keys. Then looked everywhere and COULD not find them! I can not believe he sat ate took break and nap as I sat waiting and loses my keys. Do not go near this psychotic person. He is fake and definitly should not run a business. I will be reporting him. I had a 5 year old with me. He never found my keys and now says he gave them back. Pathetic
Horrible service. I brought my car in Oct 6th and it went downhill fro... read more Horrible service. I brought my car in Oct 6th and it went downhill from there. He told me I needed an ecm and wanted almost $2000. I told him no I wasn't putting that kind of money I to my car. He went down to 1200 and said it would be worth it. I reluctantly agreed. 3 weeks later he tells me part installed but i now need an alternator. This is all I needed to begin with I came to find out. I purchased my own alternator and he replaced it. I am now $1300 plus into this. I broke down on the way back to his shop after he told me it was safe to drive. Had car towed back. He now says i need a crank shaft positioner? How are all these parts suddenly needing to be replaced?? He calls days later and says car is finally repaired. I pick it up , pay him and leave. I BREAK DOWN AGAIN. I am told the crank shaft he put in is defective. It's a bad part! I bring it back so he can put a good one in and he supposedly did. And then says i need a timing belt. He by now has gone through almost every part the original problem could have been! He's what other mechanics call a "parts replacer". Tries every part at customers expense until he gets it right. Which he never did. I told him I have given him over $2300 and I'm not giving him anymore. He's had my car for almost 2 months, I've had to pay for ubers at $60 a day plus missed work plus tows plus my radiator was cracked while in his care and he refused to admit this so I had to pay for a new radiator. I had this fixed elsewhere. He tells me he is fixing my timing belt for free which is a $1000 job. It wasn't going to be free seeing i paid him $2300 and car still not running. He did something and said car fixed. I picked it up and driving terribly making more crazy noises. I call him and he says could be belt. I said I thought you fixed it. He states no! What a jerk! He is lazy dishonest and irresponsible. When I got my car back, I heard and felt my tire bumping. My son noticed there were no bolts on MY BRAKES!! WHEN HE REMOVED TIRE AND FIXED STUDS, I TOLD HIM NOT TO TOUCH, HE FORGOT TO REPLACE BOLTS ON BRAKES! I COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEBODY OR BEEN KILLED! BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING A MECHANIC! RANDYS IS PURE NEGLIGENCE AT ITS FINEST! HE WILL COMMENT ON ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS SAYING THEY WERENT CUSTOMERS OR BLAMING HIS VICTIMS! BE CAREFUL STEER CLEAR
I took my car to this repair shop on May 15, 2015 for valve change and... read more I took my car to this repair shop on May 15, 2015 for valve change and to get the car up to date. THe repair shop has not answered my phone calls in over a month, they have lacked in sending me pictures of the car. It has been 4 months, and $2000 in pieces, so they say, and still no phone call, no photos of the work done. We are tired of waiting for what could have been a fix of 2 months tops has become a project of apparently 4 months. I feel that this person is hiding and not facing his customers because he hasn't done his job.. Randy! I want my car back! I will NEVER recommend this shop to anyone, I have been walking to my job every day and back, because of his irresponsibility. Never trust or take your car to this shop, I still have no idea when I will get it back. THe multiple emails sent were not answered with the information asked. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THEY ARE IRRESPONSIBLE AND THEN THEY HIDE.
