I began a search for a 4x4 truck about a week before starting my interviews at Rocky Mountain. Stopped there because of proximity to my workplace and was met with a friendly smile and firm handshake of Jim Knigge. We toured through an inventory of small trucks they had. None of them was a good fit for various reasons. I was then showed a Ram 1500, a bit bigger than I had originally wanted, but the truck showed very good. Drove it, loved it, bought it, was taken through all the normal sales hoopla that goes on when buying a vehicle. Jim and I drove the truck to my house to pick up my wife so she could drive our car home, and when the deal was done, Jim followed to pick up check for purchase. Later that same night I looked around for photos to show my family and I ran across a website that listed the truck $2000 lower than my purchase price. I mentioned this to Jay Orlinger and a deal was made to cover that. The website is not one they use to advertise on, so he was surprised. With that fixed, four days later I was driving the truck and the power steering went out. To make this story shorter, RMAB has picked up the tab to repair that problem. As I was driving the truck to my mechanic to have him do some additonal mechanical checks it was discovered that both ball joints were worn out and the license plate lamp burned out. RMAB called me to verify all was okay with the truck, so I told them about the latest finds, and they agreed to pay all but $100 of this last fix. Mainly, I want to point out they have done this with no pressure from me. Differing from some of the other reviews on this site, I have found RMAB to be very cooperative in getting issues resolved and they have worked very hard to see that I was satisfied with the purchase. For sure when I am on the prowl for another vehicle I will stop at their doorstep first.I began a search for a 4x4 truck about a week before starting my interviews at Rocky Mountain. I did like an idiot purchase from this dealership. I tried to speak to the manager or the owner the next day and got the run around by the finance manager who claimed the general manager wouldn't be in for another week so I could talk to someone about returning the car. The whole process just reminds you of what buying a used car is like from a slimy used car dealership. I agree wholeheartedly with the other posts. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!I did like an idiot purchase from this dealership. Pretty awful experience from start to finish buying our used car. BEWARE and go elsewhere. Was told we had 48 hours from time of purchase to take to a mechanic. Did so, only to discover they had spray painted over RUST on the under carriage of the car. Was told any significant repairs over $500 they would take care of - also, we had the option to return the car and get our money back if it was within the 48 hour timeframe... Fast forward - they reneged on this and found loopholes for EVERYTHING - claiming that unless the problem was major mechanical (i.e. engine) over $500 they would not cover. Also, the 48 hour return policy was a joke, too. Now, I have to spend about $1,500 in repairs on a car out of pocket that they claim to have "inspected" - um - with SPRAY PAINT?! ok...moving on! Stay away - they are very dishonest and unethical.Pretty awful experience from start to finish buying our used car. BEWARE and go elsewhere. Drove through the lot around 8pm one evening with my wife and 8-yr old son. Stopped briefly to look at a couple of cars on the lot and then started to leave. One of the sharks was coming over and I had no desire to get in a conversation with him. Sometimes you just want to browse without being bothered. As I drove by him I said "just looking, thanks!" and as we pulled away he laughed out loud and cursed at me, calling me a dick. I stopped and waited for him to walk by and asked him, did you just call me a name? He said yes and kept walking. My wife asked him if his manager was in and he said "right in there" pointing to the building. I went inside and told them what had happened. One of the guys inside said "Hey sorry that happened but we have a lot of nice cars here". The manager asked what happened and I told him as well. They offered no real apology other than sorry. They could see I was disgusted and I told them I wouldn't be back. As we were driving off, the shark was yelling at the top of his lungs about something, seemed pretty pissed. Sorry if I hurt you feelings but WOW, I don't recommend those guys to anyone.Drove through the lot around 8pm one evening with my wife and 8-yr old son.
