After 6 repair attempts they were unable to work with the manufacturer to secure a replacement and unwilling to consider an exchange or trade in. When I complained the manager told me I should be grateful that they provided free towing and had not refused me service. In the end I had to retain an attorney to negotiate a repurchase agreement with the manufacturer. All this happened while the bike was under warranty. Ootys was 100% willing to milk the repairs until the warranty expired and stick me with a $4K loss. Basically their attitude was that it wasn’t their problem. Don't go there -- they obviously don't value their customers and don't deserve the business.

Now the first oil change on a new bike/scooter is usually performed at 600 miles. After the initial oil change, intervals vary from 2500 miles to 6000 miles, depending on make and model. Other service recommendations made clearly benefit the shop much more than the customer. Service, when it is performed, is often less than satisfactory. It then needs to be redone either there or at another shop. Another shop would be the better choice. Save time and money, go elsewhere.
