i bought a car with 660.00 down and when I drove away I learned the drivers window was broken. I called and they said they would fix it but after 3 weeks of them rescheduling my appointment i went in to see if they could fix my window but they gave the part to my friend and told him to fix it. when i bought the car i told them the tires looked really worn and that they were different sizes and brands they ignored me and said you should be glad you have a car and dont call us anymore! after owning the car 10 days I had a blow out and after one month I had experienced three flat tires. the battery needed jumping every time I would start the car. make a long story short, I decided I wasnt going to pay for something that I had to keep fixing. I didnt make my payments and on dec 15 2012 a man came to my house and said repo man! I agreed to give the car back and he even paid me 40 dollars for the key. he wasnt the repo man he worked for chancellor and basicly had no right to take my car. how do I know this well the finance co called me jan 29 and asked me wheres the car? I told them the car lot took it back and they said that they had been paid off nov30,2012. this dealership is terrible and I recommend everyone to not buy a car from them!!!i bought a car with 660.00 down and when I drove away I learned the drivers window was broken. The police came and took my complaint and theirs and when the police officers asked if there was paperwork in the file signed by David that we weren’t allowed to return the car… of course there was no such form in the file and they said it must have gotten misplaced. David did not sign any form saying the car could not be returned ever. 04/20/2012--- We still have not received a check in the mail for $500 like I asked them to send to me before I left the dealership on April 12th. David called and spoke to Lupe and asked for the $500… she hung up on him. We called the Turko Files and left a message to see if we could get some help in getting our $500 returned to us and the $40 for towing the car. Total out of pocket expense $540 not to mention that we just filled the car for $38 the night before it broke down for the second time. 05/01/2012—Called the dealership and asked for the refund of the $500 again and was told the owner would come to the phone and were put on hold for a very long time and than the phone was disconnected. Documenting purchase of 2002 Suzuki Aerial from Chancellor Motor Sales at 234 West 3rd Avenue Escondido CA 92025 (760) 740—2444 April 1, 2012 --- purchased the car with April 2, 2012—Told them the Air Conditioning didn’t work and was told by an employee that they would add the air conditioning to the due bill. April 6th--- The car wouldn’t start and Chancellor Motors refused to tow it back and said we were responsible for towing the car. The tow bill cost $40. We returned the car and said we did not want the car back. They called back and said the battery cables were loose and that the car now worked and asked us to take the car back. They promised they would fix the air conditioning, the brake light, change the tires and replace the trunk carpet. April 9th Took the car back in to have the air conditioner looked at, they had the car until April 9th than said the part wouldn’t be in they needed to fix the air conditioner until Friday April 13th. Asked if he could come get the car and they would fix the air conditioner on Friday when the part came in for the air conditioner and also fix the remaining items on the due bill. April 10th---The car wouldn’t start for the second time in a matter of days. We called the dealership and told them to come and get the car, we wouldn’t tow it again and we wanted our money back. they would come and pick it up and we could pick up our check for $500 since we were returning a car that had so many issues and broke down twice. They finally picked up the car two days later the morning of April 12th via tow truck. April 12th—We went to the dealer ship at 2:45 pm to get our refund check of $500 and Lupe saw us and attempted to sneak out the back and leave in her car. David stopped her on the way out and inquired about our check for $500.
