This time I'm writing a review to share the news that Frank's does not do smog tests, although they do excellent work on cars that have not passed smog tests at other facilities. Yelp still has Frank's on their list of stations that do smog tests, so this "review" is just to clarify that for anyone just wanting a smog test! Patricia O Walnut Creek, CA

After the assessment, Holland said that I needed a new transmission, which would cost approximately $8,000.00. I got a 2nd opinion from another repair shop and they said that Holland was grossly incorrect and that my problem was only a minor computer issue. It was an easy fix, my car runs fine now, and the cost was a hundred bucks. I am terribly upset that Holland presumed that I should replace my entire transmission and spend $8000 when it was only a small issue with my car computer that should have been diagnosed correctly in the first place. I trusted Holland and I was misled.
