I contacted the owner Todd, and checked on prices and turn around time... read more I contacted the owner Todd, and checked on prices and turn around time to grind a crank and boar on a 4 cylinder block and re-size the connecting rods, his prices sounded reasonable and a decent turn around time when I dropped of the engine, the first clue that I ignored was that they did not wright up a work order, being a trusting individual, I left the motor. fast forward 3 weeks and two weeks past the original quoted time, he finally calls me to tell me its ready and the bill is almost $200 more original price...he did stuff that I did not need nor authorize and will hold my motor hostage until he gets his ransom....I did not think people still business this way in this day in age...I suspect if I were "a good ole boy" I would have been treated differently....I always say if you do right by the customer they may or may not tell someone, do them wrong and they will tell everybody.
