I made the unfortunate choice of having my 1985 K20 Chevrolet Pickup i... read more I made the unfortunate choice of having my 1985 K20 Chevrolet Pickup inspected at Rockport Minit Man Thursday 9/26/18. The manager Adam Montemayor was my inspector. He informed me I had failed due to the removal of the catalytic converter from the exhaust system. I explained that she was not manufactured with one due to the 8600 GVWR. He was not interested in discussing the facts and sent me on my way. Saturday 9/29/18 I returned with all the documentation to show why there is no "cat" required. Adam Montemayor denied having ever inspected my vehicle and would not discuss or look at what I had provided to show the vehicles requirement status for the "missing emissions component." The Vehicle Test Detail clearly shows the inspector name. I believe I have been jerked around a bit...I will avoid any service at this shop in the future ;)

I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up when I got off work. I had run by to see if it was ready before they called me, and they were very polite and were taking care of every small detail, it looked like a totally different car!! I am so far very pleased and can't wait to see the finished product!! I will be recommending these guys for sure and will continue to use their services. Next time I will go to them for a oil change and detail combo!!

I understand that Fastrax does not offer this service but I go by there since putting air on my own is a difficult task with Arthritic Hands! I di not get the mans name that approached me I just know this person was very rude to me and told me basically that they had no time for that! If I wanted to I can roll my Car back and park it! He said they would get to it in 45 minutes! He smirked and was very Rude!
