I returned a rental the other day, and they reduced the actual gas level and upped the mileage and overcharged my credit card after I left. THEY HAVE A LICENSE TO STEAL with your credit card number. After seven phone calls to corporate, all I received was the run around and frustration. You will not recover the stolen funds trying to deal with Uhaul. The only recourse you have is to complain to your bank/credit card. Save yourself the hassle and your money. Do not use a credit card with these places. 

I learned the hard way. Do your research before given these people an open check book. Read complaint forums before renting a Uhaul.
