Do I need to turn the App on while I'm driving to receive data and alerts?

Once you login and connect your vehicle with the Connection Key, you do not need for the App to be on for the system to track your mileage and send alerts. You will still be notified if Mechanic Advisor finds an OBD-II error with your vehicle or if you're overdue for scheduled maintenance. As well, if you forget your phone at home, the next time you have your phone near the device, you will see the updated mileage and alerts come in.
