The lifestyle of being a mechanic is typically not an easy one. 1) 43% of mechanics say they regret their job choice.
2) The average pay for a mechanic is $36,100.
3) The equipment for the job (tools) can be very expensive.
4) There is not much room for advancement.
We deal with many talented and happy mechanics who enjoy their job and take great pride in what they do, but it's important to remember that the job they have isn't easy.
